Akrapovic Link Pipe Set (SS) was developed and tested only in combination with Akrapovic Slip-On Race exhaust and as such can deliver optimal vehicle´s performance and durability only when used together with Akrapovic Race Slip-On exhaust.

Akrapovič sound engineers were eagerly waiting for the next Porsche icon to arrive at our Research and Development headquarters and this is the result of the wholesome turbo-back exhaust system development. Akrapovič Link pipe set w Cat system greets you with instant sharpness and deepness that prevails from the moment you turn the engine on. Pure sound is achieved with specially developed linkpipes incorporating high-flow performance 200 CPSI catalytic converters with the eliminated OPFs/GPFs. Revving the car on idle starts your heart racing, pushing the raw adrenaline around your body to prepare you for something you haven't experienced before! Driving off with low RPM fills your senses with deep and raw iconic Porsche flat six rumble! Powerful mid range then developes into a rich, strong and high frequency acoustic sensation at high RPM that gets you ready for fast upshifts so you can experience the thrilling acoustic escapade in the next higher gear once again! This kind of high frequency sound is achieved with carefully calculated H-link between main pipes which is precisely welded at selected position. Downshifts are accompanied with even more sharp burbles and assure you to make a strong statement when arriving at your destination. As Turbo S being one of the most iconic GT cars all of the comfort is retained throughtout the rev range with no drone or unwanted streaming noise. Power and torque delivery are greatly improved with +25.2 kW (34.2 HP) of maximum power increase and +74.9 Nm maximum torque increase at 3200 RPM. Tuned torque curve offers better response from low down engine speed to red line rev range and backpressure is dramatically lowered because of OPF/GPF elimination . Exhaust system is not EC/ECE type approved. ECU tuning is mandatory due to elimination of OPF/GPF.
