IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Canada - Race 4 & 5
Contact for pricing
GT3 Cup Challenge Canada visited Mont Tremblant for the first time ever and for most drivers it was the first time racing on this beautiful and historical track.
The #48 qualified in 9th in the platinum class and the #38 started in 3rd in Gold class.
Race 1 was eventful with 2 full course cautions and drivers struggling with rapid tire and brake wear. Ilker Starck #48 finished 7th in class and the #38 car was out of the race after contact.
Race 2 started with a crash in the first lap causing again a full course caution. After the restart #48 worked his way up to 4th but a late spin in “Namerol” determined a 7th place finish.
The #38 car of Andrew Danyliw was leading the Gold Class briefly after starting from the back – but as spin also caused the #38 car to finish in the back.Photo credits: TrackRacingPictures.com and Friedrich Photo.
