The DriftBox is the first ever vehicle performance meter with the ability to measure drift angle. Housed inside the DriftBox is a high performance 10Hz GPS engine with integrated antenna, coupled with a high accuracy temperature compensated turn rate sensor.

With the combination of the data provided by the GPS engine and the turn rate sensor, the DriftBox can measure a range of vehicle performance characteristics such as Time, Speed, Distance, Acceleration, Drift Angle, and Lap Time. In addition to a comprehensive Drift Mode, the DriftBox has feature-packed Power Mode for estimating engine HP, Performance Mode for straight-line acceleration and braking and Lap-timing Mode, all with full data logging ten times per second.

The Drift Mode gives the driver real-time view of drift parameters and calculation of key drift data:

In addition to being a top-class drift meter, the DriftBox can be used to measure many other aspects of vehicle performance:

POI files containing various Points of Interest can be loaded, and DriftBox will display an icon when you are approaching a point of interest. Great for locating spots such as speed cameras.

Data-Logging

The DriftBox is equipped with a MMC Flash memory card socket. This allows 10Hz logging of Time, Distance, Speed, Position, G-force, Lap Times, Split Times, Drift Angle. Data logged to the MMC flash card can be analyzed in detail using the PC software provided. For convenience, the DriftBox can be connected to the USB port of a PC compatible computer to download information stored on the memory card.
